I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO CALL THIS

Original Submission by Nicole

I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO CALL THIS.

You dug your grave,

Then expect me to come to your save,

Pave the way,

Because I’m walking away.

I won’t lie in the bed you made,

I won’t fall for the words you said,

Promising me earth, rain, wind, fire,

You’re just a dirty fucking liar.

Trust is a two-way street,

Tripped up with your two left feet,

Remember what you used to say,

Now your actions are getting in your way.

Texting girl after girl after girl,

Now princess won’t you give me a twirl,

When you smell like her tacky ass perfume,

That stench filling up the whole room.

Was it Ashley or Savannah,

You dirty pig with no manners,

At the first sign I was to run,

You said you loved me but it was all for fun.

I love myself enough to walk away,

Won’t fall for another word you say,

Won’t fall for your rehearsed pain and trauma,

Like JLO says, ‘Boy, I ain’t your mama.’

Wake up and smell the coffee,

Open your eyes and see,

I refuse to be a Matipa or Essie,

I’m not Rihanna to love the way you lie,

Like Joyce and Lindani, I will leave you here to die.
