I Belong

By Plaksha Srivastava

I belong everywhere

As well as nowhere

Under the stars,

Over a drink

Amongst the woods

For a feast

As a listener,

To discuss the latest book you read

Or the strangest liquor you tried

As a friend

To gossip, to wail, to rant, to dance, to whine

I belong everywhere

And hence, nowhere?
