I Await You

As the bride of darkness would extinguish the lamp of the day

And shower millions of bright little sparkling flowers

On its love bed,

Then I would watch the moonlit staircase that glides to me.

For only you can find me and reach me.

So come my grace, I await you.

As the traveller clouds would playfully woo

The shy, maiden mountain peaks

And gently whisper their love secrets,

Then I would fall out and dissolve into the mist of life.

For only you can see my true self, when no one can.

So come my vision, I await you.

As every stray dog and stray thought

Would find its master, providing and caring,

Then I would see freedom in the dark streets.

For only you are powerful enough to set me free

From the banal, the mediocre and the ordinary.

So come my liberator, I await you!
