I Asked The Gods

“How to kill a God?”…. I asked Aphrodite,

She laughed and said “YOU cannot kill us you imbecile of a mortal”, “Betraying their love however, is a major blow to the heart.” Said the Goddess of love nonchalantly.

“How to kill a God?”… I asked Ares, “We don’t.” he said

A sword in his hand, strapping his armor the God of war said,

“A war is an answer to many things, however does it kill a god? That I do not know.”

“How to kill a God?”…. I asked Hera,

“You twist their love and make it yours and if they don’t let you, you take away what they hold the closest to their heart.” Replied the Queen of Gods.

“How to kill a God?”…. I asked Poseidon,

“A storm, a thunder, a quake in the sea.”

“Is that all you need?” I asked. “You ask too many questions you mere mortal, but there are somethings that even Gods can’t tell you.” Said the God of the sea.

“How to kill a God?”…. I asked Dionysus, “Now why would you care about this when you can enjoy the little time you have left with debauchery and wine?” said the God of wine.

“How to kill a God?”…. I asked Athena,

“It matters on your wit, for an intelligent foe never loses.”

Said the Goddess of wisdom.

“How to kill a God?”….. I asked Demeter,

“Starve them of their precious harvest.” Replied the Goddess of harvest.

“How to kill a God?” I asked Artemis,

“Derive them of their purity.” Replied the Goddess of the hunt.

“How to kill a God?” I asked Hephaestus,

“Burn their arrogance.” Said the God of fire.

“How to kill a God?” I asked Apollo,

“Distance them of their divine.” Replied the God of archery.

“How to kill a God?” I asked Hermes,

“Crush their dreams, stop their messages.” Replied the God of Dreams.

“How to kill a God?” I asked Zeus, The King of them all.

He smiled and said “Strike them down with the lightning of the power of all my Olympians.”

However, I am still curious to know if you can kill a God.
