Hush Evolution!

“Hush, keep your voice down.”

They were told.

“Hush, daren’t you form an opinion”

They were shouted.

With these threads of whispers

Falling on open ears

A fire grows,

Demanding equality.

“Hush, you mustn’t ever complain!”

They were chastised.

“Hush, you are simply overreacting!”

They were dragged.

The fire roars and spreads,

Until those hushed whispers

Grew into strong shouts,

To never be shut,

To forever be heard.
