Hungrily

Oh, but I feel every insult like a sharp tooth,

and I feel my dreams rotting under my fingernails.

I cannot get out of bed.

my heart is a vortex,

always hungry,

always swallowing,

no matter how much that goes in me,

I always end up unfulfilled, empty.

If only I could help how I feel.
