Humble Beginnings

A story in life that lives so long, 

Has thorns and flesh both so strong. 

Irony being held in the eyes of love, 

Has cupid struck or is it evil ? 


Pangs of pain filled with sorrow, 

Respect and trust seesawing in the waters.

How far have we come together?

Has it been at all worthy?


Reflecting and sensing my own perception,

I desire not to pile up dust in our ship.

For every nail that pierced your skin,

Your heart moaned loud, your soul could hear.


Trespassing my limits, so called love,

Harm or safety can I bring?

Oh Why me? I ask you My Lord.

Have I not been able to protect him?


Roses shall smell so pure,

It’s thorns shall be softer to touch.

One day when you shall wake up,

I shall be gone forever.


Ages passed, my heart seeks,

If we can start over again?

Like fresh flowers in a meadows,

Glazed with mist of morning dew.
