Hue Fun

My hands of silver feathers

Dispersing the night of fading stars

Green grasshoppers had brought me pollen

From the meadow of saffron

And a few scattered drops of sunshine

From the mustard field supine

But, that was some other day and night

And today, is the day of might and light.

A garland of letters I have made

With the droplets of sunshine bled

And draped the mountain

In fragrant aroma of sun fountain

As I soak myself in the call of blue

Rejuvenated kumkum blossoms in the valley of hue

Silky descents of the sky adorn

A new dawn of crimson

That was another day, ‘Today’ reborn.
