How I Wish I Never Grew

Sitting in an idle couch

enjoying the twilight wind,

I see a group of children playing.

Their laughter and sweet chatter

took me to my horse and buggy days.

Oh, how I wish I never grew up.

To enjoy the laughter and our plays.

To run in freedom on the tar but happy roads.

To feel like a child,

Hopping to play hide and seek.

And to ride like the wind on the bicycles.

As my heart bearing the outpour of my bliss,

Tears of reminiscence fell from my eyes.

Oh, I wish I never grew up.

My hear yearns, oh my heart.
