How Can One Explain it, My Dear?

By Abhay kr. Gaur

How can one explain it, my dear?

What is it like to be in the constant fear?

The constant fear of things known & unknown,

It's not something quite easy to disown.

The memories of the sins of the past,

The haunting ghosts of losses last.

No where to run, no corner to hide,

One has to face the full blown tide.

The tide is followed by the tranquil waves,

One more addition to the string of close shaves.

This uncertain uproar, tumult and strife,

Makes what we come to know as Life.

The ride can be bumpy, the path may be hazy,

But don't let it make you grumpy & crazy.

Take a deep breath & try to relax a bit,

Deep down, you are a warrior, be sure of it.
