House Of Card

Pack 52, we slid ten for each

Lay heads together, legs spread

They fluttered in vain every exhale

We giggled inside our mouths

Betting poker in our leotards

Together we build a house of cards

You boasted flush of five clubs

I smiled in my hidden full house

We dealt them, I stacked the living room

There falls a King in the lawn you soe

The table stakes were wine and two hearts

Together we built a house of cards

Then Queen of spade, your black woman

Had tumbled down in deuces wild

My room was suddenly too big for you

From the wall that you had knocked

Base of glass makes ceiling iron fall apart

Together we ravaged a house of cards

Your bets were weak but you held ground

I wrangled the setting equally bad

2, 3, 4s were a pack you were holding

The game isn’t on cards but your poker face

Ace of diamonds slash the Jack of hearts

There goes falling our house of cards
