Hope For Love

I had always believed that I was unfeeling;

 until I realized why my heart ached and my eyes rained

when I read of love I so desperately wished for,

and though I cannot fathom true undying love

 till I have experienced it myself,

 I will continue to dream of the feeling that makes

 my heart clench with hope while I read about it

in stories of characters I have fallen for.
