HOPE

In shadowed vales where sorrows deep reside,

And every step, a weary, heavy stride,

Where grief cold hand upon the spirit lays,

And whispered woes fill up the passing days,

Still in the dark, a fragile blossom gleams,

A whispered hope, a solace in our dreams.

For happiness, a phantom, light and free,

Dares dance upon the stormy, troubled sea,

It’s the sunbeam through the fractured plane.

A fleeting warmth that flushes out the rain.

Not the absence of the sting and ache,

But the courage found for one's own sake.’

Let the tears fall, let the wound hurt,

But guard the joy within your fragile heart,

For even the depths where darkness lies,

A quiet happiness can still arise.

A testament to what the spirit bears,

A blossoming of hope amid the tears.

For pain, like shadows, stretched long and wide,

But cannot claim the heart where joy can hide,

It's not a conquest, not a battle won,

But finding beauty when the day is done.

A tiny spark, a resilience profound,

Where hidden happiness is found.
