Homesick

Updated: Jul 24, 2025

My heart aches for a home

A home,

Between two open arms that hold me tight

And keep me safe throughout the stormy night

A home,

In the mountain peak

Where the sun’s molten light speak

A home,

Under the starry nights

Where dreams are born

I yearn to be where I'm not forlorn

A home,

Where I join in the restless river’s rhythmic game

To rinse my pain with them

A home,

In the cemetery

Where someone sleeping in silence for so long

A home,

In an old library

Where lives a thousand stories

A home

Where I can rejuvenate myself by my own

I am homesick for a home

Which I've never got
