Homeless

You can see me waiting, honey

After all these years, it's funny

You give me the same chills, after all

And it took me three whole minutes

To recall again our pinnates

We grow on either sides, it's protocol

And if you want me to be yours,

You got to be mine too

Because sneaking through your backdoors

I am done being in your queue, now

You were my home,

but now I am homeless seeing no place

And if you want me to be yours...

I can see you wanting, honey

Though am just a stupid pickney

Maybe this time it's your heart involved

Third fourth and hundredth chances

Lingering on breaking branches

Maybe you just can't see me with someone else

And if you want me to be yours,

You got to be mine too

Because you are what my heart endures

How can you bid me adieu

You were my throne,

But now I am homeless seeing no place

And if you want me to be yours...

Else I am leaving by the side doors

So, just be here

You know I care

There's no one else I can call home

Because all this while

You've been hostile

And you didn't even understand

Mistook everything I meant

And you didn't even take my hand

Did I make a lot of demands?

You were just where I wanted to land

But you didn't even understand...

And if you want me to be yours

You got to be mine too

Because sneaking through your backdoors

I am done being in your queue, now

You were my home,

But now I am homeless seeing no place

And if you want me to be yours

Because you are what my heart endures

How can you bid me adieu

You were my throne,

But now I am homeless seeing no place

And if you want me to be yours...

Else I am leaving by the side doors

So, just be here

You know I care

There's no one else I can call home…
