Home Where I Belong

By Gaurav Gangmi Thapa

Home, where my dreams take flight,

Under one roof, love shines bright.

A fragrant space, filled with care,

In every corner, warmth is there.

The flicker of candles on quiet nights,

Mom’s gentle smile, all worries take flight.

Childhood memories dance in the air,

In these walls, my heart lays bare.

The scent of the streets, familiar and sweet,

Every nook whispers, “You’re complete.”

Joy and sorrow, together they blend,

Home is where my journey begins and ends.

This roof, this ground, this love so true,

In every heartbeat, I find a clue.

A sanctuary of peace, a place to be free,

Home is my heart, my identity.

Home, where I belong,

My safe haven, my lifelong song.

Here lies my essence, my heart's embrace,

In this cherished space, I’ve found my place.
