Home and Hope

Home and hope are self-same.

When we feel chaos around us,

We tend to find a homey place;

When we don't know how to rebound,

We hope for a spirited chase.

When our dreams seem to wane down,

We wish to cope with it by God's grace.

When society's norms make us frown,

We want someone to bring back smiles to our faces;

When the world exhausts us not to yearn for a crown,

We need close ones to believe in our aspiring tales.

In every case, we want to revive our fire & flame;

Our impulse to find hope and home remains the same.
