HOLLYWOOD TAKEOVER DAY 1

It's dark out...Carmen's busy writing in her journal...in her bedroom...she turns around for a moment to watch the love of her life, Mark, still asleep in their bed...she pauses for a moment to ask herself, how did she deserve a man like him...? She turns back to her journal & pens a few thoughts...when she's done, she closes her book & returns to the bed...Mark's arm instinctively goes around her, even as he's asleep...

An hour later, Carmen tries to get out of bed but Mark's arm stops her...attempting to scoop her back to bed...

Carmen: -Sweet whisper- Mark, amor...we need to get up now...

Mark: Ugh...5 more minutes...

Carmen giggles...Carmen: Come on amor...we gotta check on the “kids”...

Mark grumbles...Mark: Fine...

He wakes up, revealing his beautiful ocean blue eyes...her heart flutters every time she looks at her beautiful man...Mark sees Carmen sitting in a cutesy but also sexy pose, watching him...

Mark grins...Mark: Are we trying to outdo each other in cuteness now?

Carmen: -Smiles- Am I winning?

Mark: Will I let you? He bats his eyes at her...

Carmen giggles & Mark laughs...Carmen: So...bath or shower...?

Mark: -Eyebrow raise- Shower...naturally...

Carmen giggles as she offers her hand...Mark takes her hand & they head to the shower together...

MEETING THE GANG...

Carmen heads to the kitchen to make coffee for 2...

Old flame Brandon, a charming Italian stud, shows up & decides to use his suave flirtatious self...

Carmen: Oh, Brandon...

He flashes her his charming smile...Brandon: Yo girl, watcha doing?

Carmen: I'm doing, regular coffee things...

They share a laugh...Brandon: Uh, where's Mark?

Brandon's looking around, checking for his old friend...

Carmen: Mark will be down...he's, doing his hair...his very, sexy hair...-horny look-

Brandon grins...Brandon: Oh yeah...

Young protege Andy, who's the little brother of the group, joins them for breakfast...Andy: Hi Carmen...!

Carmen: Andy...-sweet smile-

Andy: Hug?

Carmen hugs Andy, the younger brother figure of the group...he has a soft spot for Carmen...Andy: YAY, morning hug...

Brandon chuckles...Carmen: Mark will be down soon...

Andy: YAY...I like Mark...

Brandon: I hope so...he's married to Carmen now...

Andy: Ahhh love...

CARMEN'S COUSINS TEASE MARK...

Mark finds Carmen's cousins, sisters Amy & Ashley...

Mark: Girls...

Amy: Oh, look who it is...tall & dreamy...

Mark: You have your own boyfriend Amy. I'm married to your cousin, ya know, the one who's the same age as you...

Amy: Hm. Minus that rude Irish potty mouth...

Mark raises an eyebrow, amused...

Ashley: What my sister means is, hi Mark...

Mark: Hi...have you seen Carmen?

Amy: She's probably making your morning coffee, right? Since you 2 do that kinda thing...

Mark: Yes we do...

Ashley: So cute...

Amy & Ashley giggle...

Mark: I'll wait for her then...

Mark sits on the recliner...

Amy: Don't fall asleep...

Mark: I'll sleep if I want to...Carmen's the only fun 1 around here anyway...

FRIENDS TEASE MARK...

Jay shows up & he also teases Mark...Jay: Yeah you 2 get a room...

Jay, Amy & Ashley all giggle like school girls...

Mark seems bored with the others...he reclines in his seat...Mark: CARMEN~...

Carmen is amused, hearing Mark from the other room...

Amy: Cousin. Your husband's asking for you...

Carmen: -Sweet smile- Of course he is...

Mike: Better go get him before he gets cranky...

Carmen: -Laughs-

In a sing-song voice, Carmen walks up to Mark...Carmen: Oh Mark~...-she smiles sweetly-

Mark smiles...Mark: Hey baby. Come sit with me...

Carmen: OOH...

Carmen takes his offer, places his coffee mug on the table & she sits on his lap...

Mark puts an arm around Carmen...he whispers in a sexy tone...Mark: Mine...

He gives her a sweet kiss...Carmen is enjoying herself being in the arms of her big strong man...

Carmen: Are you ok?

Mark: These guys are boring, that's all...-he smiles at Carmen-

Jay: PFFT...says the guy that sleeps all the time...

Carmen: He doesn't sleep all the time...just when he needs a boost...

She gives Mark his mug...Mark smiles as he accepts his still-hot mug from his lovely lady...Mark: To you beautiful -he takes a swig-...

Jack: Carmen is so intuitive...

Jack smiles, seeing his friends all happy...

THE GROUP REACTS TO WORLD NEWS...

Chris, the manager, looks disturbed by current news he's seeing on his phone...he's sitting with famous gay British internet couple, Eugene and Pete...

Chris: You guys seeing this? Apparently the Boomers are trying to make AI call centres...

Eugene: Fuck that, man...

Pete: Eugene...excuse him Chris...that is troubling news...

Mark: You know I would do something about it...

Mark looks down at Carmen in his arms & he smiles...

Carmen: So strong...-giving Mark the eyes-

Jay tries to tease Carmen & Mark...Jay: Well if you LOVE him so much, why don't you marry him?

Mark & Carmen both flash their ring fingers...matching his & her wedding rings...

Ashley: Ooh...Jay, you're so stupid...

Amy & Ashley giggle...making Mike giggle...

Brandon: HAH! He's such a fool...

Mark & Carmen simply act like they're paying no attention to them at all...

Mark: -Whisper to Carmen- Wanna go upstairs & get in bed...? -Horny grin-

Carmen: For a nap...? I am kinda tired...

Mark sighs for a moment...Mark: Sure...are you so tired...?

He brushes her long black hair with his fingers gently...

Carmen: UHM -nods-

Mark: Ok...

With little effort, he scoops her up & carries her upstairs to their room...

SOMETHING INTERESTING HAPPENS...

Carmen's cousin Amy tells the group about her idea...

Amy: Guys, I have an idea...

Eugene: Oh this ought to be good...

Pete: Eugene please...

The group wants to use technology to “make things easier”...they try to hide it from Chris...

Chris shows up to check on the group...Chris: What are you guys up to?

Everyone pretends to be cool, acting normally...

Eugene: Oh nothing...

Chris: Right...because a group this big does “nothing”...

Pete: Eugene...we apologize Chris...we're simply, doing the norm...

Chris: I don't like how that sounds...

Amy: Like it or not, you agreed to be our manager...

Chris: I agreed to be your cousin's manager...she wanted to make the group...

Amy: Right, so you're managing all of us...

Jay: She's got a point, man...

Chris: -Tired sigh-

PEOPLE ARE AFRAID TO TELL MARK...they make Carmen tell him...

Carmen: What's all this for?

Jay: Taking extra precautions...

Carmen: & it's a problem because...?

Jack: They're afraid of what Mark would say...

Carmen: OMG...-laughs- you guys are so lame...

Brandon: Ok. Then you tell your big strong man...

Carmen: What do you guys think he'll react with? He's not gonna hurt you...it's not like you guys did anything bad, right...?

Brandon turns to the others...Brandon: Did you guys do something...bad...?

The silence & awkward looks make Brandon & Carmen realize...they DID do something...to a pretty bad degree...

Carmen: I don't wanna say this but...if Mark yells at you, I won't defend you guys...

Brandon: What she said...Mark's gonna F you guys up...

Jack: It wouldn't have happened if you guys just listened to what Carmen said...

Jack looks disappointed more than anything...

CHRIS AND CARMEN ARE WORRIED...

Chris: They're being so sneaky, it seems dangerous to go on...

Chris turns to Carmen...

Chris: I'm sorry Carmen, but you're gonna have to talk to your husband...so he doesn't, kill them all...-awkward look-

Carmen: -Growls- WTH do you want me to say to him so he won't get mad? You know how Mark gets about me...he's overprotective about my hopes & dreams...!

They hear heavy footsteps, & they panic...Mark comes in & everyone freezes...Carmen turns around & she almost panics...but she tries to keep cool...by being cute...she skips over to him...

Carmen: -Huge grin- Hi husband...!

Mark smiles...Mark: Hi, cute wife...what's going on?

Carmen takes a weird deep breath before answering in a cutesy way...

Carmen: Stuff...

Mark: Of course...everyone's always doing stuff...

Everyone pretends to be busy...but they all seem to be glancing at Carmen & Mark...

Mark: That's how it is around here...

Mark looks at them weirdly, getting suspicious...Carmen tries to keep his attention...she keeps his face facing her...

Carmen: Hey...-cutesy-

Mark: I'm sorry love. Always look at the prettiest thing in the room...

Carmen giggles, acting cutesy...

Mark: If we don't keep the kids busy, they'll get into trouble...

Carmen tries to find an excuse...

Carmen: I gave them all something to do. Let's go talk at a nicer place...

Mark: Yeah...don't know why everyone looks so, ridiculous...what a mess...you want some dessert? I got you some...

Carmen: OOH...!

As she leaves holding her man's big strong arm, Carmen hopes the others will fix the situation soon...

MARK, JACK & MANAGER MAN CHRIS TRY TO CALM THE GROUP...

Chris: Ok. I'm sick of the secrecy...what are you all up to?

Jack: This doesn't feel right...

Brandon notices something off...Brandon: What is that?

Amy: We're using some help...

Brandon: Is that...?

Mike realizes what he's setting up is not a boombox...Mike: O_O Autotune...?

Jack: Oh God...

Chris shakes his head in disbelief...

Brandon: Don't let Mark see that...

Eugene: Why not? It's no big deal...big stars use it sometimes too...

Brandon: Not us...we're real...Carmen said so...

Mike: I thought you guys wanted to play instruments or something...

Ashley: Nah. It's a lazy day...

Mike: No, no, no...

Andy looks confused...Andy: I don't think Carmen would like this...

Amy: She'll be fine...

Brandon turns around & he's horrified...

Mark enters, clearly pissed...

Brandon: Oh shit...guys... Brandon tries to warn them but too late...Ashley's turned on the auto-tune...

Mark: Oh...my...God... Mark looks disgusted...

Jack is bewildered...Jack: Guys...really...?

Chris: -Face palm- Here we go...the Irishman's pissed...

Mark: You guys are using...fucking, auto-tune...???

Chris: Ok now you guys are pissing me off...

Everyone's stunned...

MARK IS IRATE

Mark: You all should be ashamed of yourselves...

Andy: Carmen's gonna be so upset...

Mark realizes someone very important is missing...

Mark: Has anyone seen Carmen?

Ashley: Dude, didn't you talk to her like 5 minutes ago?

Amy: Already missing the lady...

Amy & Ashley share a laugh...

Mark glares at them, they stop...

Mike: Girls, please...

Mark remembers where she went...Mark: Oh right...she'll be back...

Chris seems concerned...Chris: Wait...where IS Carmen?

Brandon realizes what's going on...he looks at Mark to confirm...Brandon: Carmen went to get Captain Adrian...

Mark nods...

Chris looks at Mark weirdly...

Mark: Why are you looking at me like that?

Chris: You got your wife to get the Captain...alone...?

Mark: What's the big deal?

Chris: Well...'cause they used to...

Mark raises an eyebrow...Mark: I thought you trusted your biggest star...

Chris looks like he's got egg on his face...

Mark: My wife is loyal...incredibly...they may have history, but I think that will help us at this point...

Chris: Yeah...she'll get him here...he may be our only hope...

CARMEN IS FORCED TO TELL SOMEONE WITH STATUS...her former fiance, the Captain himself...

Carmen waits for the Japanese Captain to return...he obviously has many duties but this is important...plus Carmen doesn't know what else to do...she's anxious...then a vehicle comes in...she stands, waiting patiently...

From out of the cool modern sleek-designed car, the Captain steps out...

Adrian: -Sees Carmen waiting, he quickly strides towards her-

Relief washes over her...Carmen: Adrian...

Adrian: Carmen...I'm here...please explain everything...

Carmen takes a deep breath & explains the situation to the Captain...

Adrian's handsome face turns solemn as he hears every bit of her explanation...

Adrian: I'm glad you didn't leave any details out...

Adrian smiles a little, appreciating the lovely Virgo in front of his Capricorn self...

Carmen: So...do you think we can fix this?

Adrian slowly takes her hand...

Adrian: We can...

Carmen smiles, relieved...

Carmen: Thanks Adrian...

He was about to enter the house until she says this...

Carmen: I knew you'd do this for us...

Adrian stops before turning to Carmen...

Adrian: I'm only doing this for you, Carmen...

Carmen follows Adrian inside, hoping the others aren't making a fuss...

Meanwhile, Mark, Jack & Chris are busy trying to hold down the fort...

Mark shakes his head, being a disappointed “Dad”...

Mark: I'm beginning to think it's just an excuse for you to be lazy...

Jack: He's right. It's not like we're not talented...

Chris: We're a band people...a band...that Carmen & I both took the fucking time to curate...

Mark: This...what he said...are we doing this for nothing?

Amy: Mark...what if my cousin falls sick?

Mark: She's not sick!

Jack: Amy...why do you keep asking if Carmen's sick?

Mark: Why do I detect jealousy...?

Chris: I'll tell her Mark...

Chris walks over to Amy...

Chris: Amy...you will never replace Carmen...in a million years...get that through your head...

Everyone's stunned, realizing that is probably what Amy's thinking...

ADRIAN GETS THE GROUP IN SHAPE...

Mark sees Carmen enter the room with Adrian...

Mark: Oh good. The Captain's here...

Chris: Adrian...

Chris was about to explain...

Adrian puts a hand up...Adrian: It's alright. Carmen's had me up to speed. I know what to do...

Carmen: -Hopeful smile-

Adrian simply stands in the middle of the room, watching them...slowly they all notice his presence & they start to behave...

Andy: Hey the Captain's here...hi Captain...

Adrian: Andy...-nods-

1 by 1 they said hi to him and stopped talking...

Amy: Oh hi Captain...back so soon?

Adrian: Carmen asked me for assistance...clearly you all need it...

Ashley: PFFT, he's just saying that...-nudges- cousin...

Mike looks at Ashley...he nudges at her & whispers...

Mike: If you remember, Carmen asked Adrian to take care of your sister...in a, romantic way...

Ashley: Oh...right...Adrian...

Mike stops her...Mike: -Making noises to say no- Ask him later...he's busy now...

ADRIAN IS BAFFLED THEY'D DO THIS TO CARMEN...

Adrian sees the auto-tune...he gives a very disappointed stern dad look...

Adrian: This is what you did behind Carmen's back...?

Jay: Hey, we had to think forward...

Chris looks disappointed...

Adrian: Why...?

Ashley: Well it seemed like she was getting ill...so...

Adrian: Who told you she was ill?

Adrian turns to Carmen, looking concerned...

Carmen: No. I've been good for months...

Adrian turns back to the group...Adrian: So where did this idea come from?

Jay: We planned ahead...just in case...

Adrian: So you created a problem before it existed...thus creating the issue...

Carmen: That IS weird...

Adrian: If anything, it's disrespectful guys...

Amy: Ok, how is it disrespectful? We can't cancel the concert if she's sick...

Adrian: She's not sick...everyone, look at Carmen now...please...

Everyone's eyes are on Carmen...she simply smiles and poses...

Adrian: Does she look unwell to you now...?

Mark: She had a slight fever & a nap took care of that...& you idiots wanted to just, cancel on her...without telling us...

Adrian: I didn't know that...

Carmen: I'm fine Adrian. It's not a big deal...

Adrian looks at Carmen sadly...Adria: They...how could they do that to you...?

Carmen: That's why...we need your help...please talk to them, Adrian...

Adrian could never stand Carmen looking upset...Adrian: I will...

Adrian: Have you all forgotten what this band even stood for?

Ashley: But Adrian...

|Mike: Hush...listen to the Captain...

Adrian: She's worked so hard for all of you...& this is how you repay her...?

Jay: It was their idea... Jay points to Eugene & Amy...

Adrian is disturbed...he turns to Eugene & Amy...Adrian: Both of you...?

Eugene: It seemed like a good idea Adrian...

Adrian: You were like a brother to her...

Eugene: -Guilty look- I'm sorry Carmen...

Adrian: & you...you're supposed to be like a sister to her...you're her cousin...

Amy looks guilty...Amy: She is...

Adrian: You're family...does that mean nothing to you...?

Amy: Of course it does...

Carmen smiles...

Amy: But we're trying to do this for the team...

Adrian looks like he's getting madder...Carmen grabs his arm to try to keep him calm...

Eugene: Actually, no...

Adrian: I had a feeling you were doing this for selfish reasons...can't you let your cousin have the spotlight? She earned it...

Carmen smiles, listening to Adrian...

THEY ATTEMPT A SONG WITH CARMEN (MARK IS ON INSTRUMENTAL)...

Adrian hands Mark his guitar...Mark starts tuning his guitar...

Adrian: We should remind them what they're here for...

Adrian smiles as he hands Carmen a microphone...

Carmen thinks for a moment...

Mike: So many amazing songs...I wonder what she'll pick...

Andy: Something beautiful...

Carmen smiles...Carmen: I know what song I wanna sing...

Mark: Go ahead baby...

Carmen nods while Mark strums his guitar...

Carmen sings Bayang-Bayang Ilusi (Illusions In My Dreams)...the group is reminded of how hard Carmen worked to even make them into a group...

Should I stay up dreaming in the clouds...embracing a thousand dreams...& should I run & run & keep on running...chasing after...the shadows in my dreams...not a fantasy...the illusions in my dreams...

Mike and Andy end up singing along...

Chris smiles...

Adrian nods...Adrian: Perfect...

Mark: See how amazing we are...as real people...

The band look at each other, guilt on their faces...

The little brother of the group Andy breaks the silence...

Andy: We're sorry Carmen...

Carmen: It's ok guys...

Andy smiles and giggles...

Ashley: EESH...my cousin's boyfriends are always so...overprotective...

Mike: Ash...you know Captain Adrian's only here because of Carmen's favour he still needs to do...right...?

Ashley: Favour...?

Mark grins slyly at Chris...

Chris looks annoyed...

Chris: What is it Mark?

Mark: You thought my wife was unfaithful...PFFT...she always thinks of others, not herself...you of all people should know that...

Chris: Well it's good that your loyalty never waivered either Mark...

Mark smiles...

Mark: Naturally...

Chris: -Worried look-

Mark: What's wrong Chris?

Chris: If this could happen within the group...what's our rivals gonna do...?

Mark: We'll cross that bridge when we get there...we're pretty strong...

Chris: That is a good sign...

NEXT TIME, Episode 2: Eugene and Amy mess up...they have to figure it out...Carmen and Mark try to assist...once again Adrian is needed...
