There was a him,
There was a her,
Through life they skim,
Waiting for future.
Their lives took turn,
Presenting them eachother,
They felt what they yearn,
As they walked together.
Life sparkled,
Novelty daily,
Days glittered,
Everything lovely.
But the time came,
Another turn arrived,
Difficult to frame,
To understand they strived.
Unknowingly, unwanted,
Pushed into a battle,
Thoughts blunted,
As they realised it's all prattle.
They looked eachother,
Finding what they loved,
Walking again together,
Realising acceptance is behoved.
So the him and the her,
Finally understood,
Accepted eachother,
Together they cured.
There comes more dark,
In love than bright,
The path may be stark,
But leads to pleasing sight.
