Heritage

By Kasheeka Gupta

The time has gone.

Some works our lost.

But something’s there,

Which is everywhere.

It is the heritage,

Telling us about that,

Historic age.

It tells us about,

the Kings and Queens.

About their friends and nemesis.

About the wars,

Which lead to the

End of dynasties.

But remains the,

Iconic Monuments

Telling the stories,

Of the grand era.

While we take pride,

In our developments.

But seeing the pasts’ architecture

Puzzling ourselves.

On the possibilities,

Of making the,

Impossible- Possible.

This is the power,

Of heritage.

Which tells us about,

The pristine aeon

And its secrets.
