The handmade violin

The devil’s deed

The colonial fireplace

The wooden chesspiece

A learned shelf

To silence the beast

The moonlit shore

Beyond Ignorance’s creed

Some fruits untouched

By the pollution of the store

The unsent letter

Carrying the red folklore

To an estranged lover

Who lives offshore

Made of burnt parchment

By the candle’s glow

The fresh alive water

The soothing breeze

The revelry of silence

The midnight peace

The book of poems

That no one shall read

That my friend

Is all I shall need!
