Her Twisted Little Life

Sep 26, 2022
1 min read

By Magdalene Natasha.C

She was a grain in the sand,

A part of millions.

She strives to be more,

But she hurts along the stones.

The sea is her path

And the horizon is her stop,

Because its within the ocean,

She could swim into infinity.

She breaks the rocks and flows

Her strength she barely knows;

Picked on or kicked upon,

She never reaches the shore

Her fright that her dream

Will turn into an old lore.

She fights for a weary war

She has faith though it is sour

And hunger in her life

Which may shrink or tear

But will never be gone.

The ocean is so near.
