Heavy

Heavy Perhaps, the moon's gravity has something to do with the weight of thoughts because they are as attracted to the night as moths are to light. And just how moths sense the presence of light though blind, my thoughts sense the vulnerability of the moment darkness brings, though seemingly subconsciously. I have enough time in my day to think about so many things but I dont and perhaps this, is why.

The bright, the new, the sad, the conflicting, the ones that come with age and strange incidents and accidents in your life; all kinds of thoughts you've thought of before, they come at you when you're innocent in your solitude, when you expect nothing of the second ahead of you, when you just want to close your weary eyes because nature gifted you 'rest.' It would be rude and inhuman not to accept and respect it. But 'thinking,' I'm not sure I wanted that. Thinking only lets me forget about my entitlement to rest. Is this why God forbade the apples? Because you now know a little bit about everything, your curiousity keeps digging until the weight of thoughts couldn't be weighed anymore but simply called - heavy.
