Heartstrings

The tremble in my fingertips

While penning my red thread of fate

Echoing the attempt in feeling everything

Like a veteran palette

Splattered on my fingers

I see hues of red, brown and black

Tears unstopping, the wailing never ceasing

Making me wonder of an if

A mourning for the dying embers of my cremated soul.
