Heart of Mine

Updated: Jul 16, 2025

It was raining in the evening,

Kids drenched, dancing in the rain.

The happiness on their faces was soothing

But there was something that was hurting,

Figuring it out was making me insane.

There was piece of me missing,

For which I was longing.

The droplets falling on the glass window of mine,

Felt like a thousands of frozen fragments,

Piercing through the heart of mine.

It was nothing I had lost,

It was not mine to feel grim.

If this is what love had cost,

I’m ready to pay it with all my heart.

Was it magic to be in a whim,

I questioned the dripping sky,

“Why was I drowned dry in a gloomy room”

The rain seemed to answer in silence,

That he was in the heart of thy.

Seems like this is where everything ends.

The craven I was to look him at the eye,

And ask “was it all a lie”.

How could you think it’s all fine,

After u entered the heart of mine
