Healed In Silence

By Deeksha Agrawal

In darkness I sit, like autumn leaves faded

Drifted from all, wrapped in solitude’s shade

I savor my aloneness, though discomfort sometimes plays

Now it’s a habit – being alone in quiet ways

No one shares this space; it’s mine to breathe and see

In this emptiness I find fragments of myself hidden deeply

Knowing me, claiming space – it isn’t dull or grey

It equips me for life’s tides, shows I can stay

I smile recalling tears that once fell like sharp rain

Cries for pain that hunted me like shadows in vain

Thankful for the journey God led me through night

Healed now – I restart life with a quieter light.
