Has The Quality of Education Shrunk This Pandemic?

  • Students across the nation wrote the only medical college entrance test NEET on 12th September 2021. The exam was conducted in pen and paper mode offline.

  • Is it fair to have online classes but offline exams especially when one has been under lockdown on and off over a period of 2 years now. Educational institutions seem to be in a hurry to finish off exams that have been getting delayed for quite some time now.

  • Forty percent first year M.B.B.S students have failed in Bihar. Most Colleges have resorted to lenient correction or simply making easier question papers.

  • While the pattern of examining has been manipulated, the teaching methods remain the same in most cases. The fact that lockdown could have caused mentally unhealthy minds that need treatment is simply being overlooked by educational institutions

  • Among the many things that the pandemic has taught us , quality of Indian education is one that should be on our priority list.
