Happy... Maybe

Am I supposed to be where I am today,

Could I be more happy than I am someday?

What if my story played differently,

What if I had a completely different destiny?

Would I still write sad songs,

Would I still dance all alone?

Would I be able to live my dreams,

Or would I still wake up in sweat and screams?

Would I be able to fly above the sky,

Or would I end up in tears and cry?

Would I sing without a worry,

And would all the pain be worth it?

Would I be who I always thought,

Or would I be someone I am not?

Would I ever be bothered by anything,

Would I be happy even if I had everything?
