Happy Mask

Just one hug, clothes to tug

Just one kiss I promise.

Too much to ask?

I’ll wear a happy mask.

Another day of pretend

Another game of lies,

Ball of hollow dancing to attend.

Everywhere are severed ties.

Just one corner to creep into

Just one person to hold onto

Too much to ask?

I’ll wear a happy mask

Another day of smiles

Another game of disguise

Maybe to destiny I should apologize

Just one mouth to kiss

Just one person to miss

Too much to ask?

I’ll wear a happy mask.
