Happiness

In the breeze, In the seas, In the mountains high,

Always beside you yet you push it aside.

It breeds on love and hope,

inviting you with its bright envelope.

If only you'd let it in my dear,

maybe then you'll finally see,

that finding comfort in despair,

is only something that is temporary.

In a mother's laugh, In father's advice,

Is something you know lies inside.

Every heart that beats on earth,

Every soul that grieves,

has had it atleast once and then lost it achingly.

In a child's first cry, In every smile,

residing in the hearts of us all,

is the joy of happiness abound.
