Haikus For My Cat

A pair of wings flutters by,

Your golden-yellow gaze looks up at the sky,

Oh, wonder!

Your lithe snow body stretches out,

It rains,

Sleep steals you away for an instant.

A sight in white,

The breeze glides through your fur,

Yellow eyes twinkle, two blazing suns.

What goes on in that little mind of yours?

I see you,

You see me!
