Grief

Original Submission by Gargi Sidana

Grieving On The Grief of Oneself

Hulla hoop burn the shells of

Pristine layers entwined

The melancholic reality of

Longing pain and pungent

Lasting sadness

Grey-white hurricane reaching

At the top, cynical much wider

In circumference of the lost identity

My grief is simple yet ubiquitous silence.

Howling louder

Horizon transforms / briefs the

Locomotives of shredded cycle

I choose length over the width.

I admit the punishment regardless of healing.

Silence can't define the fragments of peace

My heart ponders over a half-wired brain.

Lemons fall on my tongue sour buds

Croissant is no longer sweeter than my charred blood.

Crimson blood of grief carves

The fatal plasma of anxiety

Depression sliced my throat half-open, naked lips sung

The sorrow of losing oneself.

I blended the chiselled suffering with

Puffed breathing

Camouflaging

My existence

I dwell in the wails of vacuum.

Void is my best friend never

Leaving me alone.

Shape the march of languid air

Air of grief/ cannabis of moist lungs

Lurking on the heavy soul

Sinking/ stuck fungus in hands

No more overlapping jokes / laughter hurts badly.

Grieving succumbs to the passive truth

Of

Fatal pride
