Grief hits you in waves

But also embraces you in them.

Its like water, at the shore, touching your bare feet for

the first time-

A tingle and a bit of discomfort.

But soon enough your feet get used to the feeling

Somehow you begin to feel comforted

The sand starts to cave in and mould around your feet

But wistfully, the water always comes

And just like that,

Away it goes.
