Greedy Will Perish

History teaches that those who held

The sword will die by the sword,

Those who conquered other kingdoms

Will themselves be conquered afterwards.

Avarice to expand the area will

Ultimately lead to downfall

Arrogant Napoleon had to bite the dust 

Alexander the great met the same fate.

Andromeda is growing by capturing

Other petits and fast approaching

Our milky way, which in turn keep on

Annexing many a minor region.

Seemingly superior once thence

Stumble upon a mightier force

Conquerer gets conquered thus

Cosmic history is also like wise.

The mother of all is even more greedy

Not only is it expanding its territory

But doing it in a greater haste. Nobody

Could fathom it's greed's boundary.

Space and time were gifted at its birth

Still it's greedy for more width and depth

Is there a great battle laying in wait with 

A parallel universe if it grows at this rate.

I will perish, earth will end, our galaxy

Will be consumed before the universe breathed it's last with space time 

Dissipated into thin air for good.

Entropy will have the last laugh

Entanglement will still hold on

Consciousness will go to slumber

Cosmic cycle will get repeated.
