GRATEFUL EVERYDAY

Sometimes,

I sit quietly pray,

grateful for the gift of another day.

The golden sun,

the endless skies the gentle wonder within my eyes.

The whispering wind,

the evening light,

the stars God scatters across the night.

How beautiful life is, so tender, so sweet, with countless little blessings beneath our feet.

Lately,

I’ve learned to slow down,

to cherish moments, I once ignored before.

To laugh with my whole heart and to simply be and thank God for the beauty he allows me to see.

Because perhaps true joy isn’t found in grandeur above,

but in living each moment with gratitude and love.
