Grandma Dear

Updated: Jul 15, 2025

Grandma dear, Grandma dear,

With you there's no fear.

You were there in times good and bad,

And tried to make me happy from sad.

When speaking sometimes gentle and sometimes strong,

You’ve helped me know what’s right and what’s wrong.

Telling stories about values so true,

Your words were always unique and new.

Cooking and serving the best of dishes,

You taught me to have worthy wishes.

Teaching me more and more about prayers,

You taught me to overcome my cares.

Now that you're gone, I remember you still,

Knowing for me you pray always will.

I shall tell of your knowledge and your pain,

And won't let your sacrifices go in vain.
