Gone Forever

In the womb of whom I was born,

Out of sight she is forever gone.

Mummy, mummy I cry out loud,

Searching for her lost in the crowd.

Then I realised she is not around,

Despite of doing everything she will never be found.

No voice of her do I hear,

Without her everything I fear.

My supporter, my strength, my comfort I lost,

I wish she could come back at any cost.

The pain of her separation I can't bear,

Dear Almighty, “You snatched her away, is this fair?”

But since she has left to unite with the Divine,

May her soul rest in peace and shine.

Never will I forget I am your part,

Mysteriously though you had to depart.

Right from your womb you have nourished me,

The principles and values you instilled in me will never flee.

Your memories and knowledge imparted, nobody will steal;

But an emptiness in my heart I will always feel .

You taught me to live each day with a goal,

And always strive to become a wonderful and pure soul.

No words on earth can describe a mother,

Speechless to write about her any further.
