Gone, But Not Forgotten.

A smile so precious,

A smile so true.

A smile so beautiful,

It could only come from you.

Until it couldn’t,

Because You were gone.

I was the only one who remembered.

Everyone else had moved on.

The memories you left,

The memories we shared,

The times you made me happy,

When I felt like no one else cared.

Stories are where memories go

When they’re forgotten.

But that means I would have no stories,

Of the things you said and the places we’ve been.

An unforgettable memory,

Stored in my heart, not my mind.

Gone but not forgotten,

A person that was truly one of a kind.

You filled a bottomless void with love,

By making a void of your own.

I didn’t realise the pain you felt,

It was too late, now I’m all alone.
