GOLDEN AGE

There have been arguments by many.

On part of our life that’s the best.

Some say 'its school life that’s atop'

Others say 'college beats the rest'.

If you ask my suggestion, I'd say, "my dear.

Though high school was a bit of a pest,

And college gave eyes filled with happy tear,

It was the life as a student that widens my chest."

No rules applied that were hard and fast.

On how to make our friendships last.

Friends who shared joy, sorrow and fun,

We are by bodies many but souls just one.

Most ended up with memories, crushes and heartbreak.

Treated with Mass bunks to movies and malls in college.

Some lucky ones have old sweethearts as their wife.

No denying, that era has given us friends and pals for life.
