Goddess of my soul

One of splendour one of grace

One with celestial beauty in her face

With her my heart shall always abide

Tethered to her like the shore is to the tide

With an angel’s voice and Midas touch

No gold is worth as much

Her heart radiates affection

So I shall strive to be her heart’s selection

When walking with her I stride on clouds

Through lightning harsh and thunder loud

Eyes of alabaster and deep obsidian black

I’ve gazed into them and cannot go back

A constellation plotted across her face

It looks better there than anywhere else in space

With her comely face and enchanting presence

She is a paragon of effervescence

Thinking of her has taken its toll

But it’s worth it for the goddess of my soul
