From the Twilight Shore

By Sini Jose

Yesterday's raging wind

Has damaged my garage.

Beaten with heavy falls

Bleeding now the inner shell.

Torn and worn out now

Soul's ready- made dictionary;

Words outdated, expired

Worms move all along.

Fingers touch emptiness

With no blue wine in rich store.

As we walk this summer's day

Sweat all mine, sticky and dark;

Shadows refuse to move along

As the feet cross the barren fields;

Noon light engulf all moonlight

Nude stars on pride display;

Fierce Sea cannot fill

Not even bottle's single half;

Hungry and unfed so

Wind moves in the slowest pace;

Lonely and lost in truth

Sparrow misses its charterd path;

Pain burns out in the Twilight shore

And the night slips into a summer's dream
