From Sorrow to Insight

From grief comes creativity's might,
That's why this poem takes flight,
So all may find light in the dark of night,
And transform sorrow into insight.
In a world where love's a fickle game,
I cherished all, but things stayed the same.
I thought I was his, his heart's own song,
But in the end, I stood alone, withdrawn.
My heart endured, countless times it bled,
Cherishing moments, as tears were shed.
Letting go, a task too hard to bear,
In God's embrace, finding solace rare.
Hurt piled on, hard to let it fly,
Forget and forgive, they say with a sigh.
But it's tough when the wounds run deep,
And the world's advice feels like a steep.
Compassion offered, emotions hid,
Beneath the surface, feelings slid.
Pulled down by others' vibes so cold,
In silent pain, my story's told.
But as I approach, to my true self's grace,
I ask my soul, in the silent space,
"How long must I bear, in this test?"
And the answer comes, in whispers blessed:
"My child, fear not, for you're not alone,
In every sorrow, I'll make my home.
You're broken, yes, but beauty lies within,
Cherish the past, let forgiveness begin.
Hold my hand, in every fray,
In every moment, come what may.
For you're beautifully damaged, yet loved, you'll find,
In the embrace of the Divine."
