From His Eyes

Honking vehicles,

Busy streets,

Our first meeting,

With thousands of passersby in it.

You by my side,

The short half an hour walk,

Chattering away, giggling,

Flowing random talks.

Your fruit-flavoured ice cream,

A shared brown coffee,

Summer heat and sweat,

Yet you look so happy.

The auto ride back,

You, waving and smiling,

Leaving me anxious,

About your feelings.
