From Dislike to Deep Love

Have you ever misjudged a book by it's cover?

You look at it and say, I won't like this.

But you open it up, and soon discover,

The love and adventure that you would have missed.

You become engaged, and can't put it down.

But at first you thought, I won't like that.

Then love, excitement,  and romance abound

From dislike to deep love, is where you're at.

Have you ever met a girl, who got on your nerves?

She's pesky, intrusive, and always around.

But then you notice that she has some curves,

And a friendship develops, on solid ground.

You like what she likes,and you talk all night. 

You like her so much, you thank God above. 

You then realize ,that it all seems right.

You've reached the point, from dislike to deep love. 

Have you ever met a guy that you just don't trust?

He is so handsome, but with too many flaws.

You think of him as a sweet pie without crust.

You know he's a shark, so you just call him Jaws.

But the more you know him, the more you see.

He's kind, honest, and crazy about you. 

You tell yourself, that this just can't be.

From dislike to deep love, you know it's true. 

Let's talk about me, and the woman I met.

She's lovely, smart, but has a wall too high.

She doesn't trust love, and has a deep regret. 

So she tries financially to reach the sky.

Don't get me wrong, she's really a catch. 

But why should I try, she's out of my league. 

But she started an itch, that I just had to scratch. 

And before I knew it, she had me intrigued.

Then I really thought she was just passing time. 

But the more time passed,the more we grew.

And soon our feelings began to climb. 

And love became the feeling ,that we both knew. 

Our love is so pure, and incredibly deep. 

It's a love that's warm, and a love that's strong.

Our love is so gentle, but still full of heat.

It's a love worthy of its own love song. 

So you see some feelings won't stay the same. 

Wherever you are, just take the risk. 

For my love and I, are an eternal flame. 

From Dislike to Deep Love, it does exist.
