From A Voice

She heard the sound from a faraway land,

A voice so sweet and so grand,

From a majestic place, with no restrictions,

Where she could breathe freely with no repression,

The song carried her across the seas and worlds,

Her aura, alive, no longer dull,

She heard the voice, she heard it right,

“How long will it take you to shine bright?”

The words slapped her to the harshest reality,

She existed in a world with no gender equality,

But the spark lit, soon turned into a fire,

A fire that burned fearsome and higher,

Rebellions erupted, the song stayed strong,

It wouldn't be just a dream for long!

She roared and crushed the corrupt minds,

Monsters who had silenced her every single time,

Pursuing her dream into a joyful reality,

Her world evolved with gender equality!

She did what she wanted, no restrictions planted,

No slavery, no pain, no taking for granted!

The voice now sings freely on this Earth,

It gets stronger with every girl’s birth,

A promise made to every single woman,

Reminding to not let her dreams be broken,

Never ending and never wavering,

Never once again surrendering,

She now sings with that voice, free and grand,

Embedding it in the heart of the land,

The voice of courage and rebellion,

Now is the song of inspiration!
