Friendship

Somewhat ten years ago a friendship began

Who would have thought you were the one God sent

Who would have thought that this was now God's plan

This was now a start of a new advent

This person has encountered me and vice versa

I began to ponder about what this friendship is going to be like

What is the meaning of this new found friendship

Then it came to me 10 years later more of a companionship

Today I think back through the years

To what was and is still a strong bond

That has faced many laughs and a few tears

Like two birds in a pond

Their connection cannot break

I look back at some memories

Like our 21sts where we partied all night long

To some of our favorite songs we sang along

That's just one of the many memories

Of what defines a friendship
