Caption Of Artwork: In 2025, early January, I went to Costa Rica to study abroad, researching turtles as part of a international group for a little over a week. The people I got to study with were amazing, people I knew I wanted to be friends with for years to come. The turtles we saw were magnificent, coming onto the beach at night to nest, their shells glimmering in the moonlight. Before the trip ended, I wanted to make a souvenir drawing to give to everyone on that trip, as an extra shared memory to cherish for a lifetime.
