Forever We Belong

The shades of the world

are fading away,

giving us a moment

of togetherness.

I could tell that

two souls had

incarnated into one.

Me and him,

just the feeling of us.

I could tell his eyes

held my attention,

and I craved his essence.

My heart urged me

to move closer,

into his arms.

Oh, and he did.

The space between us dissolved,

a vibrant calmness

settling around us,

and I could only

feel his warmth

enveloping me.

My hands gently

trace the graces 

of his skin.

And in that breath,

worlds begin to merge,

woven by the rhythm

of a love untold.

And in that love,

forever we stay

and we belong.
