Forever My Brother

I close my eyes and see us there,

two young souls without a care,

laughing and running side by side,

in childhoods joy, so full of pride.

Through every storm and every fight,

we were together, like guiding light,

now the world feels quiet, cold and bare,

without your voice and without you there,

Though time moves on and everything should end,

you will always be my brother and a dear friend,

I miss you more that the words can show,

in my heart, you would always glow.

Now in the stars, I see you shine,

wherever you are, I feel you are fine.
