Forever Loving You

we argue again

one pain after another

how you feel kills me too

but i want you to remember

this hurt you make me feel

for wanting to hold you forever

maybe someday i’ll survive

the trust i’ll give to someone else

maybe one day you’ll realise

if i ever break through this spell

that you cast on me every time

don’t.

just let me be

leave me alone for some time

till i’ve found the peace

in being awake after the sleep, after,

the dreams that i had dreamt of you

in the end we both know

i’d rather get blamed for all our hurt

than remind myself of the truth

which makes me seem like a fool

for ever loving you
